Sydney FC’s vision for our community school holiday clinics is:
“To provide an environment that builds confidence and encourages both boys and girls of all abilities to have fun playing football”.
We will promote the importance of respect and teamwork, whilst focusing on developing and improving their individual skills such as Striking the Ball, First Touch, 1 v 1 and Running with the Ball.
As every participant has access to a ball, many fun, football related games can be played during each session. Our clinics also allow for the following:
- Opportunity to work on the 4 core skills of the development process; striking the ball, first touch, running with the ball and 1v1 situations
- Opportunity to get as many touches on the ball as possible during the 3 days. This is obviously very important for a child to develop and improve as a footballer.
Please find below training allocations for the 2021 season and map of training areas.
We ask that teams please stick to their allocated training times and have cleared their area so the team after them can start training for their allocated time.
If your team has not been allocated at spot please fill in this form so that we can make arrangements.
Teams are reminded to please stay out of the penalty area and goal mouth of all fields so that minimal wear and tear occurs.
Serving Our Football Community Since 1930
Carss Park FC was established in 1930 by a local prominent resident by the name of Charles Pirie. He approached Kogarah Council with the idea of commencing what was known as soccer for the children of the local community. Thus was born the great tradition of the maroon and white that continues to this day. Charles Pirie remains as our main ground, along with the midi and mini fields that so many Carss Park generations of players have grown up on, fostering a love of football and friendship.
Our Club Is Our Family
At Carss Park FC, we are very proud to provide a long & successful tradition of both park football to our local community and a pathway to further representative opportunities. We have a family friendly ethos based on fun, fitness, football & friendship. Whilst we aim to develop each individual’s skills to the best of their ability, team comaraderie and good sportsmanship towards own team and competitors is equally as important. These are lifelong skills which players will take with them across all areas of life long after they finish football.
