Registrations Open 4th January 2022

With the 2022 season of football fast approaching, the Executive Committee would like to invite you to register and join us in our 92nd year of Football.

Registrations MUST BE completed online for both players, coaches and managers online via www.playfootball.com.au.

Once logged in you will be able to select the relevant package you wish to register for and also complete payments online. You are still welcome to come down to Carss Park on the below dates and we can offer assistance for players to self-register, make payments and show any documentation.

NEW PLAYERS – PLEASE ENSURE A PHOTO (E.G PASSPORT) IS UPLOADED WHEN REGISTERING VIA ONLINE, returning players can use last years photo or upload a new one.

With the reduced playing season in 2021 we are pleased to offer discounts in 2022 across the board for both new and returning players, to assist with these reduced fees players are requested to use their playing kits from last years for this season. For any new players (excluding U6’s) or any player wishing to purchase a new kit we will have the opportunity to do so prior to the season start.

Once we have received our uniform stock for 2022 we will advise a date a time for purchases.

ACTIVE KIDS REBATE

All players eligible for the Active Kids Rebate (i.e. Every child 4.5 – 18 years’ old enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 will be eligible for an Active Kids Voucher) through Services NSW. This voucher will provide eligible children to a one off $100 rebate on their registration fees. To be eligible for this voucher please ensure you have registered through Service NSW.

Please note that if this rebate is not applied at time of registration we will not be able to apply retrospectively and full fees will be applied.

** Payment methods available are EFTPOS, Cash or Cheque (made payable to Carss Park Football Club). Credit Card transactions will incur a surcharge fee of $5.00 if processed in person or 1.8% if processed online.

*Your Registration Fees are a one off fee which includes:
Match Fees, Referee fees, Association Fees & Insurance, a training ball(junior teams), ground leasing fees and associated council costs. All Under 6’s registrations will also include Jersey, Shorts and Socks.

All NEW players regardless of age will be required to provide an original Birth Certificate or current Passport, together with a photocopy of same which will be submitted to Football St. George.
Identification Documentation
– All NEW Juniors players must supply original birth certificate or passport
– All NEW Over 35s players must provide a copy of a photo ID.
– All NEW Coaches and Managers must supply copy of Photo ID (Driver Licence or passport) and must provide a WWC Number.

IN REGARDS TO OUR GRADING PROCESS, NO PLAYER WILL BE ENTITLED TO ATTEND A TEAM ALLOCATION SESSION UNLESS FULL REGISTRATION HAS BEEN PAID AS PER OUR POLICY.
NO PLAYER’S ID CARD WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL FULL PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES HAVE BEEN MADE.

All applications for a refund are to be made in writing to the club Secretary NO LATER THAN 28th February 2022.

Applications for refunds will be assessed by the executive committee on a case by case basis. Any applications for a refund received by the club Secretary after 1st March 2022 may be declined.

2021 AGM Results

On the 6th of December we held our Annual AGM at the clubhouse to round out the year and say thank you to our coaches, managers and volunteers for the 2021 season.

 

As part of the evening we thanked the outgoing committee of 2021 for their efforts in a season that was again affected and none more so than that given to our outgoing President Carlo Tini who will be enjoying some much needed down time!

Carlo has had a long history with the club as a parent, player, coach and former committee member and again he joined the executive committee as President in 2017. Carlo assisted the club in growing and reaching many achievements of those years including a new club house, coaching a number of junior teams, the expansion of our junior girl numbers as well as providing guidance and mentoring to a number of players, coaches and committee members over the years.  Carlo wished to thank the club and its members for the his time and promised to be back on Saturday mornings for breakfast at the canteen and to watch the next group of upcoming football stars.

To close off the evening our new committee for 2022 was elected with a number of new faces joining which is always a positive, the new committee look forward to the new challenges ahead and the new season.

Serving Our Football Community Since 1930

Carss Park FC was established in 1930 by a local prominent resident by the name of Charles Pirie. He approached Kogarah Council with the idea of commencing what was known as soccer for the children of the local community. Thus was born the great tradition of the maroon and white that continues to this day. Charles Pirie remains as our main ground, along with the midi and mini fields that so many Carss Park generations of players have grown up on, fostering a love of football and friendship.

At Carss Park FC, we are very proud to provide a long & successful tradition of both park football to our local community and a pathway to further representative opportunities. We have a family friendly ethos based on fun, fitness, football & friendship. Whilst we aim to develop each individual’s skills to the best of their ability, team comaraderie and good sportsmanship towards own team and competitors is equally as important. These are lifelong skills which players will take with them across all areas of life long after they finish football.
