What a fantastic inaugural season our newest CP & SGFA players had... 22 young players, boys & girls, two fantastic coaches and a lot of goodwill from the whole club and association community to make The Warriors the success of the season.

Our two undefeated teams under the guidance of super coaches Mel Koinis & our own Adam Fitzsimmons with special guest coaching appearances from Adam Fardous ( CPFC), Miro Vlastelica ( Syd FC), Aytek Genc ( GM SGFA) & our own homegrown Matilda, Teresa Polias with a host of football buddies aged 5 and up made a memorable debut season for all.

Special mention must also go to Michelle Allen, co-ordinator of the SGFRA cadets  & our crew of regular young referees as well as Di Fyfe our Registrar Extraordinaire & the SGFA Board & Warriors Committee. In particular, Kathy, Tanya & Luc for their time & commitment to this program.

Much thanks also to the Carss Park community of players, parents & committee who got behind this initiative on a weekly basis.

And last but not least, to our Club Sponsor Rentokil, our private sponsors, in particular, The Poletti Corporation & of course our wonderful players & their parents. In particular, Marc Buman our parent committee representative for all support given as well as Heidi ( COE), Paola M  & The Singh family from CPFC who assisted throughout. It was wonderful to see the two way interaction between players of all abilities on the field & the football buddy program is open to all players across age groups & clubs. We will continue training in the off season &  if you would like to volunteer, please contact us via the listed email below.

We'd also  like to acknowledge Ahmad A whose wonderful movie skills are on the attached link for all to see...( see link)
We would especially like to thank Jason Hunt for his support & leadership of this initiative in helping us fulfil the vision of our wonderful past President Darryl Hancock who was the inspiration behind this wonderful community initiative of which he would have been so proud.
